I received a comment from the folks at Lalibela Farm and they say they will be making their tempeh available soon. Great News.
UPDATE! Jaime from Lalibela just commented to say: "Come get your local Tempeh!!! Find us at the Portland Farmer's Market tomorrow, Saturday for the debut of our Tempeh!! Lalibela Farm's booth is where the path from the walking bridge meets the market, at Deering Oaks Park! 7am-12pm. Hope to see you there! —Jaime"

Jamie and Andy are wonderful people who show a tremendous amount of respect for the food they grow and produce. Can't wait to try some of the Tempeh.
I'm sure Jamie & Andy will put good energy into their tempeh. Thanks for the update on the local tempeh, Brad.

Well, did you get some!? We're dying of suspense here! :)
That sounds awesome. I hope it becomes available farther north. If not the Orono farmers market, maybe the Belfast Coop? I'd love to try Maine tempeh!
Hi Everyone! We will have more Tempeh available again this Saturday at the Portland Farmer's Market in Deering Oaks. It will also be at Lois' Natural Marketplace in Scarborough, Royal River Natural Foods in Freeport, Morning Glory in Brunswick by next week. We are talking with a number of other retailers and restaurants, so check our website for the updated list as we get orders coming in.
We will be offering it to Crown of Maine in a few weeks, which would make it available further north. You can always request it from your local store to encourage them to carry it!
Thanks everyone!!!
Jaime at Lalibela Farm
