I saw this yesterday. Completely ridiculous. If I wanted to be a food journalist I would have gone to journalism school, not law school. Fine, I think it's reasonable to reveal if you get free food and then say it's tasty... but multiple visits? I'm not a reviewer, I am a blogger. I provide subjective opinions.

It seems like both of the people who put this together are mostly interested in legitimizing their blogging as "serious journalism" or something. Bleh.

Exactly. I can also get behind attributing recipes where attribution is due--the lawyer in me likes that--but the rest just makes me cringe.

Yes. That, to me, is ethical. A lot of the other stuff is self-puffery, in my opinion. "I may be a blogger, but really truly I am a journalist. Therefore, important. Look! I am ethical!"
