The Farmer's Cart at the Portland Farmer's Market

Simon at Thirty Acre Farm now has the Farmer's Cart offering breakfast sausages and pulled pork sandwiches for lunch at the market on Wednesdays.

(That's not Simon.)

Isn't that a good idea? I wish more vendors would offer foods prepared with their products (like they don't already have enough to do). But Simon's products sound delicious. I mean, pork and slaw, what could be better?

I did end up getting one of these sandwiches and it was really damn good. It was also way to much food. The sandwich is huge and it came with a plate of steamed collards. Really good stuff.
